Cold and uncaring

In 2014 my 21 year old brother was diagnosed with cancer when I was 23 and there was a lot of trauma and sadness going on during the time, I unfortunately did not keep some of my scheduled appointments with Dr. Pangan, due to circumstances that were out of my control. She blocked me from the practice, and dropped me as a patient. I called today in 2021, 7 years later, to make an appointment with an allergist at a different Core building where a note came up about my "truancy or no show" and that I should not be accepted as a patient. At the time of my brother's diagnosis, Dr. Pangan who was my primary care doctor showed no empathy or compassion to what myself or my family was going through at the time. Today I was reminded of her disregard and coldness. I do not recommend her and hope that through out the years she has gained more empathy and compassion for her patients.

I don't usually write negative reviews but feel compelled in this case. On my initial visit with her, Dr. Pangan was cold, rushed and appeared totally disinterested in me as a patient and person. She did not appear to want information about me and my medical history. She was abrupt and dismissive. I have changed PCPs and would never recommend her to anyone. I would have given her 0 stars if possible.

Makes you feel like you waisted her time. Doesn't listen to what you have to say. Does not follow up on how your doing. Dont waist your money seeing this doctor.

Have been a patient for years and love Dr. Pangan. Kind, thorough, professional.

Dr. Pangan does NOT follow-up with Patient re: Test Results. One year after leaving her, saw another physician who dx'ed me with a diagnosis looking at same test results from Dr. Pangan. She also did NOT KNOW OR TELL ME some testing would NOT be covered by Medicare, beforehand - A Medicare/Fed Rule. Had to Dispute Her for being charged taking approximately 3 months to be rectified.

Dr. Pagan herself could use a bit more polish as far as bedside manner. I have been twice and perhaps need more time to get to know her but the staff is absolutely terrible. The first time was up on checking out I did not realize the nature of why I needed the next appointment and the woman kept asking the question maybe 7 or 8 times. I kept telling her I did not know why and she was so rude to me telling me she would not accept yelling. I definitely was not yelling and told her so and if she thought I was, sorrry, it had not been my intention. She was just rude. So I decided she needed the upper hand and let it go. Today I just called and a younger woman answered. I was trying to tell her why I had called and she kept interrupting my sentences. I told her she was interrupting my sentences and still she would not accept a sentence to where I felt I could explain. As it turns out, she hung up on me. Is this any way at all to be treated? I am finished with this office. I… would advise anyone to look somewhere else for medical assistance.

Very knowledgable, very caring and thorough

I literally left her office in tears. She was so rude and mean. It would take pages to accurately describe the experience so I will sum it up with this one thing.. I lost my birth mother to breast cancer a few years ago. She was first diagnosed at the same age as I am now. I went to Dr. Pangan about two lumps that I had found. After a very quick cursory exam she said it was nothing and to forget about it without ordering any other tests. 3 months later they were getting bigger and I happened to have to see a different Dr. for something else. When she felt them she rushed me to mammography due to the increased size and amount of time that had passed. There two other specialists felt two large lumps and asked why I hadnt been in sooner... they were flabbergasted that she had not ordered tests as they were defiantly needed. Luckily everything turned out ok, but that was no thanks to her. What if it had been malignant? This woman should either be retrained to get the heck out of the… medical world!!
