Dr. Patricia A Radich

I have been coming to this practice for years. I used to see one provider, but when she made an outlandish accusation against me WITHOUT doing the proper research beforehand (as a good doctor should) I decided she was no longer for me. Fast forward, I have seen many other doctors here and eventually found a good fit. Unfortunately she had to cancel my appointment so because I just needed a script refill, I settled on seeing a doctor I had never seen before. Dr. Patricia Radich immediately came in with a very suspicious attitude. She began questioning me about my medication that I’ve been taking for years, and then told me I needed to take a urine and blood test. Before I even agreed to take this appointment, I let the office know and the doctor that I was on a time crunch and only had 20-30 minutes before I needed to meet my daughter. She kept insisting in a very uncomfortable manner that I take these tests before I leave the office. I told her I didn’t have to use the bathroom and… less than 6 months ago I had already taken a blood test. She continued to push and push and push-even offering me lots of water so that I could leave the sample before I left the room. I told her that if I could chug water and use the bathroom, and get a blood test in 10 minutes then I would, but we both knew that was unrealistic. It took about 5 minutes of going back and forth with her before she let me leave the office. It felt weird, and almost like she wasn’t trying to allow me to leave. One of the most uncomfortable experiences I’ve had with a doctor. I told her I could come back later or the next day when I HAD TIME, and she said ok. I came back the next day to leave a urine sample and she closed the order out, noting in the system “the client refused drug screening.” That was an absolute LIE. She never came out to speak to me, instead she sent the front desk lady out to tell me that the only way she would let me leave a urine sample is if I let them draw more blood. At this point I was furious-firstly because I HATE needles, and secondly, because it hadn’t even been 6 months since the last blood draw. Needless to say, she made me feel like I was a criminal! That is not the way a “doctor” should be treating their patients! The only 2 “doctors” to ever humiliate me, or come at me in a suspicious accusatory manner were both white women I should mention. Makes me wonder. Everyone else has treated me with respect. I will also note that as of the last couple of years, my urine and blood tests seem to continually say my medication is not in my system. I have talked to the other doctors INCLUDING the main doctor about this and even offered to each of them (including Patricia Radich by the way,) that I will literally take my medication in front of them and allow them to test me after! I can’t say all of their tests are faulty, but maybe I have a high metabolism? Google says that’s a possibility so im sure im not the ONLY person who gets these results with their meds. Either way, being treated like I’m doing something wrong, or trying to criminalize me is unacceptable. She is a horrible doctor and I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone.

She is very knowledgeable, personable and respectful. Wants to heal and help her patients, not just get through the day like so many other doctors. What a find!
