Best Doctor I ever had. Wish she was still in business!

Went in for annual review, saw PA who chatted w/ me for about 15 minutes. No request for blood work, no pap or any physical exam. Charged me for visit which is free under my health plan. Not impressed. Did not seem the least bit interested in my health or well being. Will search for a new primary. Also tried to get 3 months worth of prescription. Could not get it right, took many phone calls back and forth. After 2 weeks the script was correct and filled. Yish!

NP and Dr did a dis-service,to a patient, with a questionable judgment, causing extreme stress and hardship!

Getting appointments always includes waiting time. And a first appointment with Dr. Rand is never allowed until you have had at least one appointment with her PA. Once there, appointments are not rushed and they seem attentive. However, if you are sick - as in fever for days kind of sick - and you need same day appointment - they will not oblige. They will see you about a week later. You have to leave a message and cannot talk to a real person. They are slow in calling you back - even when obvious medical attention is needed. So as long as you are not sick and wait for appointments several months out - she is great. Not great as primary physician.

Medical Records hard to very retrieve, and the cost was expensive. Dogs don't belong in a medical office.

I am a professional caregiver for elders and I also have a 79 year old angry demented mother who is difficult. Dr. Rand is like an angel. She gives Mom time and understands the anger and confusion and is SO angelic with her patience and tenderness. I left another Dr. who was impatient and disinterested in getting to really know Mom. This doctor is an A+ student when it comes to making good relationships with her patients. If you need understanding and medical expertise this is the Doc for you! Thanks Dr. Rand.

Dr, Rand is so thorough she is not the fifteen minute doctor. Thus the potential long wait. Once you have her attention she is all yours and may keep you in testing while seeing to others. Her office staff is friendly, but sometimes forgetful to put memos in front of her during office hours.

Dr. Patricia Rand is one of the most compassionate physicians I have met. She is a very good listener and I trust her judgement very much.

I have been seeing Dr. Rand for almost 5 years and she is a very great doctor and very, very thourouly with her patients. I would recommend her to everyone I know. She gets to know you on a medical and personel level and give great care. The only way I wont see her is if I move out of state. Thanx to Dr. Rand and all her staff...
