Dr. Patricia Sizemore Ritch, MD

I had an appointment with Patti Ritch for a sleep issue at BSW Hillcrest in Waco. The hospital gave me an inaccurate location. I tried calling her clinic for assistance but received no answer. I went to the address that the hospital sent - that was wrong. I went to a main desk and they sent me to a third location. I finally found her clinic location, signed in with one of the intake folks, but her Karen ran over having heard the conversation and said that the visit was cancelled as I was more than ten minutes late - this was after a nurse was to take me to the exam room. Ms Patty would have none of it even if it was the hospitals fault I was late. I was at the hospital campus 15 minutes early. Her policy demanded that it was too bad for me even if it was her hospital’s fault. Would not even listen. This is simply arrogant, she did not care about the hospital’s misdirection. Appalling

Dr Ritch is a wonderful neurologist. She diagnosed my toddler with epilepsy during an inpatient stay. I had many questions, she was kind and patiently answered all of them. My son has been under her care for about 18 months now. He sees her occasionally and every time she is so warm, friendly and quick to help us understand more about his health. He has a lot of anxiety in doctor's offices but he never cries during a visit with her.I like to be very involved in my son's medical care and she never fails to explain his information in a way that is easy-to-understand. She gets 5 stars in my book!
