I have been seeing Dr. Salvato 4 times a year since 1995. She and her staff are the best of the best. My husband and I retired to Lake Palestine (East TX) but I will drive 3.5 hours each way to see her!

Dr. Salvato is an awesome doctor, she takes her time and listens to you . She talks to you and makes you feel comfortable, I usually would get nervous going to doctors. But not with Dr Salvato, she has kept my blood pressure under control when other Doctors didn’t and they really weren’t concerned about it like Dr Salvato is. I feel great , thanks to her ????

I have severe LD. I have been left untreated for over 20yrs with it wreaking havoc in my body. My cd-57 count is 23 and I was close to giving up. So far I have had two appointments with her and I have felt some relief finally. I am in no way better but because of her I can say I am alive. I was close to committing suicide because of the pain and depression brought on by LD. So far she is amazing and everything I could of hoped for.

Rarely will you find such an exceptional doctor. She is brilliant and spends time with patients to teach and explain about their disease(s). She is constantly learning the latest science and technology on some very difficult diseases. And she is excited to share them with you. You're sure to find care and answers as well as exceptional treatment options here and no where else. I have multiple auto-immune diseases and two live persistent viruses including EB and Lyme. I also have PsA, ME/CFS, Fibro, and assorted complications for those including POTS, neuropathy, and Renauds. She can handle them all. I have also made her my PCP; one, because I have so many issues; secondly, because some things don't seem to ever get fixed by other docs. For instance, I have recurring UTIs that no one seems to know how to get rid of. I've seen urologists and primary care docs. The latter keep doing a culture which finds nothing because by the time I've gotten in to see them (which may be days)… I've been drinking tons of water to flush out my system. Then the cultures come back negative. But Dr. Salvato doesn't do a culture. She knows the bacteria isn't going to grow in a petri dish. She does a DNA test on urine to find specific bacteria--to find the bacteria DNA, not yours. Voila! Bacteria discovered. Appropriate antibiotic prescribed. To the reviews that complain about her staff: I have been going to Dr. Salvato for about 3 years or more, now. It is true that there have been problems with staff in the PAST. Dr. Salvato has apparently taken her patients concerns to heart because great improvements have been made. For one, the staff is quite friendly and cheerful. (To be clear, while their staff has been very brief with me, I actually have never had a problem with "unfriendliness".) Secondly, they have developed a system to answer calls. I have not been automatically put on hold for quite some time now. They handle appointments as quickly as possible on the call. If there is a problem, question or other issue they will request you send an email. (Remember, most of Dr. Salvato's patients come to her because no one else can help. They have lots of questions and concerns about some very difficult diseases.) Consider this an opportunity to spill you guts on what ever the problem is. This allows them time to consider your issues and they WILL get back to you by the next day in a phone call--not a reply message. Wait times are also much better. I think I wait about 10 minutes typically. This staff works diligently to help you. Example: I have had problems getting certain drugs approved through my insurance. I got a call this morning BEFORE 8 am, apologizing for the early call but wanting to jump on the problem immediately. So take heart, Dr. Salvato's office is working as a team. Her staff and she are not perfect people. But know that she is worth going through a little inconvenience if you have to wait or if you have to send an email--or even put on hold--because you'll get care here that virtually no one else will or can provide.

Dr. Salvato is a top notch doctor with breadth of knowledge and experience that allows her to effectively treat her patients and find causes for symptoms other doctors get stumped by. She treats each patient as an individual, is caring and compassionate and digs to find answers. Her staff is friendly, kind and caring as well. Dr. Salvato and her practise are exceptional!
