Best woman Dr. I have missed her as my #1 Dr. Highly recommend for a primary care Dr. HIGHLY!

Talked to Dr Sammarelli's nurse regarding lab blookwork results, I knew more about the lab test than she did, I had only spent half hour researching online prior to calling for results. Dr Sammarelli was to call me herself to discuss bloodwork, NEVER CALLED! I asked for the bloodwork test be sent to a specialist and to our hometown Dr office, NEVER SENT! However, the staff did managed to call to set-up another appointment for a month later. They are interested in getting you into the office then give you ZERO information. A big waste of time and money! I've tried calling the office several times since to have lab work sent to other physicians, they do not answer their phone. Horrible.

I'm not normally critical of healthcare providers and have realistic expectations, but I don't plan to ever see Dr Sammarelli again. Aside from having absolutely no bedside manner, she did not seem to follow notes from previous appointments and conflicted her recommendations for me. One time I had my husband present with me during an appointment, and he asked her a few polite questions about if a certain medication for me was neccessary. Then at my follow up appointment she asked me if my husband was trying to pressure me on which medications to take. I assured her that was not the case, but then she told me that she would not prescribe any medications to help me if he was controlling the situation. Her negative assumption was totally off base, and it was very offensive how she kept stating it to me. Aside from that, she would not listen at all to any other issue I was having, and just wanted to focus on only one of my health concerns. She also frequently came across like she was… trying to make me feel stupid for not knowing certain medical information and causes. This is just a small part of the interactions that have left a sour taste in my mouth, and would suggest others to be prepared for what they might experience with this doctor.

With so many professional health options for family medicine in this area, I highly suggest seeking other doctors and finding someone with a compassionate interest in mitigating pain and treating more than symptoms.
