Just say no. Send me home after visit at Dr office. Then called hours later telling me to take 18 month old to ER.

My 3 children have been goin to Dr S since they were babies. Their ages are. 22, 20 and 8. I used to live in HB- fr the past 13 years I live in Yorba Linda. Dr S is worth the drive for us. She is very thorough and genuine. I wouldn't change her for the world. She is truly one in a million.

I brought my 6 year old son to Ms. Stephens twice. She could not answer any challenging questions regarding the proposed meds and treatment. Her response was always that is the normal proscribed action, etc. She does not seem to be able to think outside a very small box.

Dr. Stephens listens to my concerns and addresses them. The staff is great. I am surprised at some of the reviews. She really has been wonderful.

After several visits with Dr. Stephens, I had enough. I have changed my daughter's doctor to another one. My daughter supposedly has a milk allergy and being a 1st time mom, I didn't know what to do. Dr. Stephens had me get her off milk but provided me no other solution other than baby formula for my baby that is now over 1 year old. I asked her what milk I could buy and use instead of regular milk, maybe soy? She said "I don't know! I don't drink that stuff!" Don't tell me she has never treated or seen any other child with a milk allergy in her 25+ years of experience. I felt totally blown off. I asked about unusual looking poop my baby had. I asked if she had diarreah, then Dr. Stephens exclaims, "That's what you said!" Seriously? I was asking what the poop was and I didn't know it was diarreah. She needs to handle patients with more tact. I like asking doctors "dumb" questions because they should know the answers to them. Who else should I ask the questions to if not them? I'm so… sorry to leave the office as I really love the staff there, but that Dr. Stephens has got to retire or not work with any new moms.

I've been taking my 3 kids to Dr. Stephens for 9 years now and she is fantastic with them. She spends time with my questions, have always diagnosed accurately and I feel very comfortable with my children under her care. A wonderful, experienced Dr!

Terrible pediatrician. Only concerned with ordering un-necessary tests and the next waiting sucker. When i asked reasonable questions the answers were patronizing and condescending. If you love your child as I do, then stay away from this Witchdoctor.
