Dr. Patricia Tellez Watson, MD

I was referred to her when an endoscopy discovered a terrible infection in my esophagus. On my first visit to her office I was seen by her. She was telling me about a certain medication that I take that I would have to change the way I was taking it during infusions for the terrible infection in my esophagus. I asked her if she could write that down for me cause my memory has gotten worse with age. For some reason this angered her that I asked her to write it down for me. She then hastily grabbed a NAPKIN and writes it down on that. It really hurt my feelings that she was that upset cause I asked her to write it down for me. I've asked Dr's in the past to write instructions regarding medication changes during procedures and they were happy to write it down . She ordered 21 infusions which I did for 21 days in a row. That's how serious the infection was. I had another endoscopy after these infusions and it discovered that the infection was still present. At my second appointment her… nurse practitioner said that I would need 7 to 14 more infusions. On my way home from this appointment her nurse practitioner called me and told me that Dr Watson had refused to order more infusions for this infection. What's worse is that I was NEVER told why she stopped treating me and therfore didn't have a follow up appointment to find out if the infection was finally gone or if I needed even more infusions. Bottom line she straight up abandoned me and I never seen her again. I called on more than one occasion to ask her receptionist if Dr Watson would please explain to me why she stopped infusions for an active infection and she refused to talk to me. This is so wrong for a Dr to do!!! I mean I've never ever been treated so badly by a Dr. Please think very hard about seeing this Dr if you happen to be referred to her. I am not much in leaving reviews but I had to in my case cause if she does this to another patient it could lead to sepsis and possible death. Just think about it carefully before choosing her.

On my way home from that appointment her nurse practitioner called me and said that Dr Watson wasn't going to order more treatments and didn't tell me why. She didn't schedule another appointment either. I didn't deserve this. Hurt my feelings bad and I did absolutely nothing to her.

I had a severe infection in my esophagus. She ordered 21 infusions. I had a follow up endoscopy and it showed the infection was still present in my esophagus. When I went in for my next appointment her nurse practitioner said I would need 7 to 14 more infusions to completely clear the infection. On the way home from this appointment the nurse practitioner called me and let me know that Dr Watson was refusing to order me more infusions and the nurse practitioner was refusing to tell me why. The infection is still in my body. I saw Dr Watson on my first appointment there. Well she was letting me know that I would have to do something different with one of my medications. I ask her if she would write that down for me and she became very irritated! She hastily grabbed a NAPKIN and wrote it down. She made me feel like I was wasting her time. Made me feel terrible. My feelings were so hurt. I would NOT recommend Dr Watson for any reason. My experience was awful with her.
