Dr. Patricia Ellen Thorpe, MD

My appointments were canceled over and over and over again. It literally became an argument between Dr. Thorpe’s Office and my husband to finally do my procedure. After my procedure was done I never saw Dr Thorpe again. I was treated for May Thurner syndrome. My left leg was swollen my procedure was done in May 2019 and to this day my left leg is still swollen.

I believe I may have over reacted to a very stressful week and after further thought I think we were both put in a very difficult situation. I know my wife is in capable hands and wouldn’t want it to be any other Vascular and IR surgeon.

MY wife is a patient of Dr Thorpe. She has been for the past year. Every time we have had something scheduled she has extended our stay at the hospital at her convenience. We just had our procedure cancelled after waiting six hours patiently for her surgery. My wife had a pic line, xrays, blood work and now our time has been wasted! I have missed countless hours work because OF her inability to maintain her schedule accordingly. She has cost me unnecessary vacation time used. With this reschedule I’ve given up thousands of dollars in lost work hours. It’s unprofessional and no consideration to her patients and the financial implications. She might be a great surgeon but her scheduling is unacceptable!

After battling open wounds for 17 years following post surgical DVT, I finally found a doctor that could help me! Just a week out of the hospital & the venous wounds I've dealt with all those years are all but healed! Dr. Thorpe is truly one of a kind! Her transparency as a doctor is unheard of. Dr. Thorpe, Is such a wonderful provider. I have not ever encountered a provider who is always concerned for her patients care. She will make the effort to call you after hours to see how you are doing. I've had so many test and it seemed as though no one had answer for me. Then i happened to end up in a hospital of where she is a participating provider. She was brought my emergency report and saw something that no one else seem to find. I am so thankful for her.

I have met Dr. Thorpe yer because I am in Las Vegas and she is in AZ. We have been communicating via email and phone. I am travelling to AZ for treatment from my DVT. I feel very confident about Dr. Thorpe's ability so I can live a normal life again after DVT. With her being busy, she still managed to respond to my questions. She calls me even after hours. I was very surprised that I was able to contact easily and talked to her directly (not any staff or receptionist). After my visit, I will write a new feedback again and give a new update.

From the "get go", Dr Thorpe was an outstanding medical provider. She consistently demonstrated genuine care, superb skill and excellent knowledge of her chosen field. Her dedication to duty saw her lose at least two consecutive nights of sleep while my wife was under her "intensive care" By saving my wife's leg she has given us a new lease on life that no longer includes the disability arising from DVT. I find it difficult to express how highly I wish to recommend her to any readers who may be similarly afflicted.

Dr Thorpe is one of the few doctors I know that actually gives her cell number to pateints and e-mails paitents. She is very busy, but always returns calls. Besides me, I know she has helped hundreds of people with DVT.

This Dr. is the most profesional, and caring Dr. I have ever had. She is has saved my life on multiple occasions. I have experienced multiple Doctors from around the U.S. and she is the best. Not only did she spend enough time with me in the hospital, she has a way about her that says I care about you and your health. The time she spends with you is her life and making you healthy not keeping you alive. Just do what she says and you will be fine. Not only is she great at diagnosing a problem she is great at fixing other Doctors weakness'
