Dr. Patricia Marie Toohey, MD

Though in my first appointment with Dr. Toohey, I was impressed and happy, things have gone down hill. I had a quick 8:45 am telehealth appointment for an important prescription refill that I need to function, but Dr. Toohey was over 10 minutes late, which I didn't mind as I know she is busy. But because of her delay, I had to start driving to work. When she finally joined, and despite me saying "One second I'm pulling over right now", she immediately said we couldn't proceed because I was driving, ignored me, and abruptly ended the call within 10 seconds of joining - with 0 patience or willing to listen or care. It was very hurtful. When I reached out via message to ask what just happened and that I am pulled over now and ready, she responded by terminating me as a patient via letter. Her attitude throughout was condescending, rude, and disrespectful. This is not how healthcare professionals should treat patients, and I would not recommend her to anyone seeking care and basic respect.

Dr. Toohey is knowledgeable and trusting. She takes time and is very thorough.

Dr. Toohey is great! Very infomative, listens well, easy to understand, thorough, never feel rushed. Her nurse, Eleanor is also excellent! Highly recommend! A 5* visit always!

Dr. Toohey was mentioned to me by an infusion liaison when I was need of finding a new primary physician. It was a while to get my first "established" appt, but WELL worth the wait. The ratings were not wrong! I recently moved here, and dealing with a newl rare health condition and other prevoius health concerns made finding the right medical professionals extremely important to me. She and her nurse Elanor listened, as I tried to describe my journey/symptoms. I felt very comfortable immediately. They quickly ordered bloodwork, change in meds to get me back on track and other referrals as needed. There was great communication by Dr. Toohey and also with her nurse, Eleanor at initial visit and when I had a medical concern the next day, as well addressing concerns prior to my arrival. Great office and staff!
