Dr. Patricia Vassallo, MD

Dr. Patricia Vassallo is a cardiovascular disease specialist with 26 years of experience caring for patients with heart conditions. She earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Chicago in 2003. Dr. Vassallo further specialized through a fellowship at Rush University Medical Center, finishing in 2007. She is fluent in both Spanish and English.

Dr. Vassallo practices at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and sees patients at locations in Chicago, including the Northwestern Medicine Primary & Specialty Care office in Lakeview and the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute of Northwestern. Her expertise includes treating coronary artery disease and providing general cardiology care. She performs heart imaging studies called echocardiograms and electrocardiograms to evaluate heart function and rhythm.
