Dr. Patricia Tanya Wade, MD

My pulmonologist Dr. Wade is one of the greatest doctors I have ever had. She is very knowledgeable and caring. I especially appreciate that she does rounds at hospitals and is very dedicated to her patients. I highly recommend her for anyone needing respiratory or lung care.

Dr Patricia Wade is a very caring Doctor. If your looking for a Pulmonary Dr who is very concerned about your Health She is the ONE. Her Staff is very kind and Professional in preparing you for your visit. She doesn’t rush you in and out and gives you time to explain your condition and concerns. She Listens well and ask the right questions accordingly. I was having an annoying Cough and she ordered an Exray and CT Scan and showed me the results explaining what she sees. She prescribed Medication which has reduced my symptoms and coughing tremendously. I can’t say enough Good about Dr. Wades experience and understanding in the matter of Pulmonary Care. She is “ The BEST “

The primary issue with Dr. Wade is her office staff. They are unfriendly, uncaring, disorganized, unprofessional, and made more than one mistake with scheduling my appointments. It felt like I was bothering the staff when I’d call or show up for an appointment. Because of their incompetence, I will find another pulmonologist.

Today was my first visit with Dr. Wade for a very complicated visit. There are not enough adjectives to describe her professionalism, her sense of caring and just the amount of time spent with me going over everything, so she felt she had all the information she needed. By the end of the visit, I knew I could not be in better care with any other doctor. If you want an excellent, caring, professional and genuine doctor, Patricia Wade is your doctor. She's fabulous!!

Dr Wade is one of the greatest Doctors I know. She is respected and admire by her fellow colleagues. Dr wade definitely get the job when it comes to my health care. She listen to my concerns and together we come up with an effective plan for my health needs. Dr wade as gone over and beyond to ensure I’ve gotten what I needed as my health condition is complicated. I’ve been a patient since 2014 and She has never failed me. Dr Wade truly care about her patient and she has their backs! I love her professionalism and mannerisms, She is a cool doctor!

Where to begin, there are just so many negative things to say about Dr. Wade. Please stay away and find a real caring doctor

I was referred and recommended highly my primary doctor. I arrived fifteen minutes earlier and noticed only three patients ahead of me. Well, to my surprise it was two and a half hours later before hearing my name called. The staff and doctor seemed to be overwhelmed. I was rushed to a room where the doctor stated, "are you done because I have to go." Wait one minute, I was early and sat out in the waiting for now 2 hours and 30 minutes and you got to go. After taking my vitals. The doctor stated to get a MRI which I already knew. The doctor, stated to see the receptionist for your script in getting your MRI. I was scheduled to come back in three weeks with the results of the MRI. Well, no script for the MRI at the receptionist desk and messages left for the doctor to call, fax, or email script for MRI. No returns calls from the doctor. I was told by staff and by the doctor that their office was transitioning to a new billing system and there was new staff learning the process. I made… a plethora of calls to the doctor's office for the script for the MRI to be faxed, emailed, mailed, or I come drive over to get it since it was just 2 miles from my home. Also, why trying to get an explanation of the benefits from billing department for my insurance was like pulling teeth. I tried to explain to the billing department who tried to over talk me in explaining what the insurance company needed. I will not be going back because to the uncaring about patient's time, the unprofessional and rudeness of staff. I definitely let my primary doctor know. You need to reevaluate referring or recommending this doctor until the billing transitioning is over. Hope this doesn't happen to you.

Dr Wade is probably a good enough doctor, but she has no follow up and her staff is completely overwhelmed and uncaring. The office is old and messy and always full of patients waiting for hours to see the doctor...poor scheduling! I left 4 messages one week and NEVER received a call back. I had to go in person finally to get my records and reports. Time for a more professional office and doctor!

I went to NJH in Dever, top rated pulmonary hospital in US. Neededto find a pulmonologist locally to follow me back at home. After seeing several I tried Dr Wade and she is very knowledgeable. She is also easy to communicate with.
