Dr. Patricia Ruth Witte, MD

Prescribed me a dangerous drug that hurt more than helped. Would not look me in my eyes. Kept blinking like what she was about to prescribe me was something she needed to do but didn't want to. Suggested that I get a pap smear at another time. Basically dismissive and the only doctor who ever made my health worse more than better. She knows and thats why she can't look me in my face.

I have moved many times over the years but have spent more than 5 years in Wisconsin now. Through pregnancies and back problems and anything else life throws at you as you enter middle age, Dr. Witte has been excellent. She pays careful attention to me, my history, and provides careful analysis of what might be going on. Instead of presuming to know everything, the few times I had more specialized issues, she spent time after our appointment doing research and reported back to me what she'd learned. Her careful attention makes such a difference -- you know when you go into a doctor and they aren't really seeing the full picture so you end up going to the wrong kind of specialist and then there's so much waiting around before getting routed in the right direction and you end up feeling like you're on some kind of medical conveyer belt! That never, ever happens with Dr. Witte. She is honest, direct, caring, and above all exceptionally capable. I have valued her and recommended her highly… to others who have become her patients and come to love her as well.

I have seen Dr. Witte for many years. She has expressed concern over my health issues, and truly listens. When I don't understand diagnosis, she takes the time to explain, and refers me to where I can find more information if needed.
