Dr. Patrick Joseph Amar, MD

I would give more than 5 stars if it were an option! I have been a patient for over 5 years and will continue to choose to treat with Dr. Amar. He has always been responsive and his staff are pleasant and attentive. Following this doctor’s treatment and recommendations, I feel better and am healthier!

Staff very courteous and professional. First time meeting Dr. Amar, professional, caring, and calming demeanor. Dr. Amar spoke w/ my General Physician on phone during visit to assist best direction moving forward, thank you...….

Dr. Amar is amazing. I had my first colonoscopy today. He completely put me at ease. The entire staff at Holy Cross was spectacular. My initial office visit with him was also pleasant. Chris was especially friendly and helpful. I would encourage anyone to consider him as you dr. Exceptional from start to finish.

I was referred to Dr. Amar and an appointment was scheduled. I arrived early and was put in a room and after the nurse took my vitals she said the doctor would be right in to see me. 25- minutes later I was told the same thing and then 30- minutes later the nurse advised me the doctor’s eta was 5- minutes as he wasn’t even in the office. In all, I waited over an hour in an exam room for a doctor who wasn’t even on the premises. I guess his time is more valuable than his clients. Remember, you have a lot of choices on which doctor to use and this doctor should not be one of them. As he puts his needs before his patients.

My regular Doctor referred this office for Routine Colonoscopy. I waited 3+month just to meet the doctor (say "hello"?)! Office manager gave appointment to do colonoscopy in 2 month! Total Waste of Tilme =5 month! Didn't like this office at All: Too bossy over patient!

Dr. Amar took the time to listen to my issue and to explain his analysis. He was friendly and professional and I highly recommend him.

Amazing doctor.

The doctor arrived over forty five minutes late. The lady next to me in the waitIng room said that that had been her experience the other two times she was there. We both sat there watching other doctors patients being called back while we waited. Guessed we picked the wrong doctor to see! When I finally got into a room, the doctor entered and didn't even acknowledge I had been waiting OVER AN HOUR. He rushed through the appointment and sent me on my way saying that he'd answer any questions I had the next time..... There won't be a next time for me if this is how Dr Amar prefers to run his patients.

Very good physician, attentive, caring.
