Dr. Annello is an amazing, knowledgeable, caring physician; however, his front office is either chronically understaffed or horrifically mismanaged (or both). It's a shame.

Dr. Annello is probably the most caring doctors I have ever met, he goes the extra mile to make sure he helps you as much as he possibly can. My fiance has been going to pain management for about 8 years or so, she has been seeing Dr. Annello for about 4 years now, she has had epidural procedures from other doctors and she says that since Dr. Annello has been doing them the procedure really helps her much more than she ever experienced from other Doctors, and they last 2 to 3 times longer than when she had the procedure done by other doctors. If you are looking for a doctor to help you with pain, go see Dr. Annello, you can't go wrong.

I have had countless cervical, thoracic and lumbar fusions and revisions, I have been in search of just an adequate pain specialist who will treat me for who I am, a person in need for my daily and moment to moment pain. After years travelling into NYC for care from "the best pain specialist", I decided to make a concerted effort to find someone closer to home after the years of travelling to NYC at the recommendations of others. These trips were arduous and cost me a fortune for he visit and the parking involved, not to mention you have to kiss of a day in by these trips into the city. I spent years simply trying to find a physiatrist or pain specialist of any type to help me relieve my pain enough to get me thinking clearly enough to do my work while allowing me to return to some semblance of normalcy in my life. Having decided that a doctor in Long Island must exist, I truly found it in Dr. Annello and more! Dr. Annello is one of the most attentive and caring doctor's that I have… encountered. He has always given me the time I require to address my issues and what we may attempt to find that balance once more! It has been almost 7 years now of being treated by Dr. Annello is only the second doctor that I have recommended for all the reasons above. Doctor Annello is the first doctor to have attempted multiple treatments including getting me back into physical therapy - the first to actually do so. I can write a book on the horror stories of surgeons and the manner in which this industry is riddled with politics and the manner in which the doctors cover for each other because of their associations either from their schools or with the deceitful manner in which they create diseases that just leave you devastated and to wonder what is wrong with you! The same with the wasted years of trying to get a handle on my issues with my crippling pain (the person whose life has been stopped and blocked off from the rest of my the world) from moment to moment. Now I have finally found a doctor that cares for my needs as well as what may need to be tried next regarding alternative therapies in addition to the medicines that I receive, I have been able to work my 17 hour days, get back into relationships with friends and family which had been stymied during all those wasted years. If you live in Long Island or any regions around Long Island, Dr. Annello is undoubtedly the doctor for anyone who I know living a comparable life to mine or on their track in that direction! You will be greeted by a warm, helpful and knowledgeable staff right up to a conscientious staff in from the moment you pick up the phone to whatever your treatment may entail for that visit! I encourage anyone who has read the paid posts about other doctors in the area, to kindly do yourselves a favor and see this amazing man and please do not get caught in the frightening maze that I had for so many years! Completely unresponsive staff, I left numerous messages for days after a procedure- no one ever called back. A week later they called, and they accepted my decision not to continue with Dr Annello in the future. There was no explanation or attempt to explain to me why they didn't care if I remained a patient. Very disappointing
