He started out great. Needed to have a hysterectomy, but had complications. To my surprise my colon was nicked while the tools was being taken out. Then when I said I was in pain after surgery. The nurses dismissed it never told the Dr. About the added pain that wasn't normal. They sent me home. Needless to say I was back in the er for emergency surgery. The mistakes by the hospital at the time and doctors and nurses almost caused my family and me a lot of pain. My near death experience turned out that I was made to wear a colostomy bag for three months. At the time I was 23 years old with a husband and a three year old. At the very least the doctor could have offered an apology for the situation to me. It has been several years later by now and I have emotional and physical scars for the rest of my life. An I'm sorry would have went along way. My advice before a surgery do research and ask him lots of questions. I even do research on my family doctor. If your doctor… doesn't answer your questions walk out of the office.
