I had Patrick do surgery to remove two lumps in my left breast. He only took out one. So I go in to see him two weeks after surgery. He claims i must've grown a new large lump since the surgery. Yes, then said go ahead and get on the table and I'll just do a in office procedure. I told him nope!! I went and complained to his office manager which she could care less. Then I contacted my insurance company and had to file a complaint with them. Don't waste your time with this guy. Total disregard for his patients

Dr. Patrick Coates did my wls in 2015. He was very thourgh and if something didnt look right he went right back and fixed it till he was satisfied. He did this with me, I really believe if he would of not went back In to correct what he had done I would have had many complications, because he fixed what did not look right I have had no issues. Thank you Dr. Coates. Happy retirement!!!

They did everything they could for me when I had a insurance change in the middle of the pre op requirements. Dr coats I only meet him 5 mins before surgery and 20 mins the day after! But saying that I only had surgery 4 days ago! But he is more strict then a lot of other Gastro docs. I know 14 people who have had it done! Only 2 of them with doc coats and one has kept off the weight for 10 years now the other has struggled a little! But it's all about a lifestyle change and he will tell u that!

Dr. Coates is a very caring and wonderful doctor. Most of his staff is friendly and professional. Some visits seem rushed depending on the volume of patients for that day. I would recommend Dr. Coates for gastric bypass surgery to anyone. This surgery has changed my life and I have Dr.Coates to thank.

I just attended dr coates seminar and he was the speaker he was so nice, funny and laid back. I just cant wait for whats to come
