Dr. Patrick E Dahlkemper

Not many people will say that about a root canal but I can. Dr Dahlkemper and Sam were competent , caring and compassionate. They took the time to make sure I was numbed up and asked through out the procedure if I was comfortable. I am so happy my dentist recommended them.I will come back for future work if needed.

Do not go to this dentist. Went to him for my first root canal; which turned out to be a horrible experience. Already have a dental phobia, which the office was supposedly aware of, including this dentist. Along with tooth sensitivity from a separate disorder. This was by the far the worst experience I've ever had in the dentist chair. He was extremely rude - zero bedside manner. Didn't explain anything ahead of time, including interrupting me when I panicked and raised his voice with me enough that it brought me to tears. And snapped even though I was crying. Was not fully numbed and felt the procedure, even though he said I wouldn't. Also told me twice during the numbing portion of it - told me that it was my fault. My fault that I was there. No sedation during or pain killers for after the root canal, either.

Dr. Dahlkemper interrupted me with, "Be quiet and listen to me!" His explanations did not make sense. Was not helpful with my problem.
