Very Patient and thorough covering my questions and concerns, especially the question of reversal surgery versus living with an ostomy for the remainder of my life.

Why is this doctor practicing medicine at nine different locations when he isn't competent at even one!?! One of his patients stated "would not allow him to even operate on my cat." I don't have a cat, but I agree! I have had a terrible time after his botched surgery, and I am not the only one! I would have sued him but by the time I found a competent attorney, the two year period was up.

His office is not the problem. The problem lies with the doctor. I wouldn't let him operate on my cat.

I had the unfortunate misfortune for choosing Dr. Dillawn as my doctor for laparoscopic band surgery. Ten years later, I am still suffering the consequences of having chosen Dr. Dillawn as my physician. My esphophagus was perforated during the surgery. I spent four months in the hospital. I now have COPD from my lungs collapsing. I still have GERD and a hiatal hernia which he was supposed to fix during the surgery. My health has been compromised for the rest of my life due to this experience.

Good person, great surgeon

Dr. Patrick Dillawn performed my sigmoidectomy and I could not recommend a surgeon more. He was very caring and explained everything. I never left the office with questions.

Saved my Life

Allowed to sit in hospital in pain for days. No answers.

Initial visit his personality is off putting but gets better after surgery. Disappointed with the sleeve, found I can eat a normal persons portion after three weeks after surgery. Office staff, especially one person is very unfriendly and not helpful except for receptionist who is nice. Also no nutritional support from that office at all. Was told she moved over to other office and that is needed. You are just given packet at hospital. Surgery recovery was easy and healing was good. Sleeve just seems that was not made small enough, should have done bypass.
