Dr. Patrick Dorvilus, MD

I went to see him recently. I had a 3:30 appointment and arrived at 3:15 to fill out all necessary paperwork. At 5:15, I was still sitting in the waiting room to be seen, with 2 more people still in front of me. At that point I had had enough and requested my co-pay be refunded. I completely understand wait times in a doctors office, however, two hours is ridiculous, and expected to be even longer with two people still in front of me. When I spoke to other patients that have seen him, they ALL said their wait times took just as long, or longer. If you have nothing but time on your hands than by all means make an appointment. My time is valuable, I have a family. I have to make dinner and get homework done. I do not have time to sit and wait for hours to see a doctor. If this is how his office is run I question his ability to be an effective doctor.

Dr dorvilus is the best . We have Ivy League training in the Boro. He is accurate and comprehensive. If u want to live - see him.

Got the wrong diagnoses from him. He should NOT BE A DOCTOR. Some are born to help other ard some aren't, and he's one that doesn't.

I was admitted to the ER at East Georgia Regional Medical Hospital. Dr, Dorvilis was put to be my in network specialist for the time being and he was very kind and understanding. He was always listening and asking important questions to get an in depth perspective. I enjoyed his company and his professionalism and he will become my new specialist in Statesboro for the time I am attending Georgia Southern.

My experience with Dr. Dorvilus has been one of great pleasure. He has been very attentative to my illness, and has worked diligently to find the cause and cure of what is plaguing me. I recommend him to all I see. He has been a true blessing in my life. Lord, bless him with the true diagnosis and the cure of my sickness, in Jesus name. Amen and Shalom. I went to this doctor 4 times he spends very little time with you and does not want to listen to you he thinks he knows best. After trying to tell him what I thought was wrong with food allergy he went on to treat me another way not helping at all. I am going to another doctor why go back to a doctor that will not listen. He is very nice but being nice does not help my problem.

Has a great bedside manner, but his followup after procedure is horrible. Why should you have to wait nearly two to tree weeks after a procedure with no clue to what the results are? Also when your pharmacy calls in for a prescription refill you have to call or go by, makes NO SENSE.

Dr. Dorvilus was treating me in CT and I just found out that he has left the state, without notice. He is in the middle of treating me for a severe disease and question how any doctor, in good conscience, can leave his patients without any notice. I have been calling his office for weeks and leaving messages. I have been told that he is "away" but would call me back. He has no called back.Today, I had terrible complications from this disease and the medication he was treating me with. I called his office and had not luck. Only after I became frustrated with the receptionist did she tell me she thinks he went to Georgia and that he would not be seeing his patients in CT any longer. My only option now is to go to the ER, as I do not have another GI at this point. This seems strange, so proceed with caution.
