Dr. Patrick Finkbone, MD

Did a great job on my hip replacement surgery. He is a very caring and kind doctor. I have to have my other hip replaced and I will use Dr Finkbone again for that surgery. Thank you Dr Finkbone

Consult consulted for total hip replacement, and had a lot of questions. The doctor was very patient, enthusiastic, and professional. I feel comfortable, moving forward with the hip replacement and look forward to doing things. I haven’t done in years. The inability to run ever again, or walk, go to the gym, swimming, and so many things I loved happened due to a.motor vehicle accident, hit-and-run. I put it off as long as I could, and will update my progress Winter.

I was involved in a pretty bad accident and Dr Finkbone was Dr on call the night I was brought into the ER. He performed emergency surgery to save my foot the following morning. I had my foot crushed and had multiple compound fractures and had to have pins put in. I’m now 4 months post op and he has done such a great job watching my foot closely for infection and healing. I am now using a bone stimulator to help me heal the fractures that are being stubborn to mend. He is so kind and answers all my questions and just has great bedside manner. I never thought I would be in a position where I couldn’t walk or drive for a very extended amount of time but at least I have an awesome Dr looking after me. Would highly recommend him and his staff is just so sweet.

Great Job

After being asked to “be sure to arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment”, I then waited almost 2 hours for the doctor. He came in, told me that he exact SAME info my primary care doctor had already given me over the phone after reviewing my exray and MRI. Then he said I could try an injection or he could refer me to a surgeon in Springfield. I said I was more than happy to try the injection and thought “Ok...he would do this here and now.” WRONG!!! He sent me back to scheduling to book with yet another Ortho (another 3 weeks down the road) for the injection. So, I waited an hour and 50 minutes for nothing...this could have been discussed over the phone but doing THAT would not have allowed this organization to bill my insurance for an office visit. Needless to say, I am going elsewhere for the next steps.

My son was in a motorcycle accident recently and badly injured his right leg and ankle. Also had broken ribs and other injuries. He was in the Branson Hospital (Cox) and had surgeries there. Dr. Finkbone did a wonderful job, his leg and ankle are healing much faster than we thought possible. My son had to have a cut all the way down both sides of right leg almost from knee to ankle. The doctor did such a nice job stitching you can hardly notice a scar at all. He was very caring, we could not have asked for a better doctor. I really can’t say enough good about Dr Finkbone and greatly appreciate what he did for my son. I was very worried he would lose his leg. I would highly recommend Dr. Finkbone.

Dr Finkbone was amazing with my daughter. Excellent surgeon and excellent after care.

I was referred to Dr. Finkbone, I waited over a hour and a half for him to enter the treatment room. He could not give me a diagnosis, wanted to give me topical pain killers that I'm allergic to, suggested 3 months of PT that would only make my condition worse. He had no carrying I was in immense pain, or that I felt like a piece of paper with a number on it. I will NEVER EVER go back there again. NOR will my family and friends. This doctor should have his medical license reviewed.
