Does not return phone calls within a timely manner (over a week). Overprescribed medication- led to hospitalization.

He walked into my hospital room on my day of discharge, spent a couple of minutes looking at my chart and asked me two questions, said "I can't help you" and walked out. I received a bill for $200 for this "service." I was on total disability, couldn't work and was waiting for approval of disability benefits. I didn't have a dime to my name and pleaded with his staff to wait until my benefits came in and I would pay them. Absolutely no help from them and no flexibility. He sent me to collections and to court. My disability payments started the same week as the court hearing at which time I had to pay $375. This man is a crook, his office staff is incompetent and inhuman. I wouldn't recommend him to an enemy.

Doctor refuses to write prescriptions with refills. Forces you to make appt. if you want a refill just so he can bill insurance, even for meds you have used and will have to use for years. Knowledge of diabetes abysmal. Billing system ancient; statement appears as if typed on old typewriter, inaccurate. Billed and tried to collect without waiting for insurance payments. Staff unable to properly send fax for simple record transfer release to old primary. Lost signed paperwork for records release and had to redo it for them. Then both doctor and staff messed up urgently needed fax for surgery. Changed to another doctor ASAP!!
