Dr. Patrick Terrance Furness, MD

I was seeing Dr. Furness for what I thought was a broken foot. He suspected it wasn't broken, but related to my years of joint pain, after he had me describe my history. He referred me to a rheumatologist, who diagnosed me with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I had seen other doctors in the past for pain in my joints and was told to "live with it and take ibuprofen". He asked the right questions and pieced the puzzle together. This was 8-9 years ago.

Annoyed when I asked questions and did not listen to me. In his mind he already had the answers. Did not want to discuss other therapy options. When I asked what I should do, he suggested I find a new doctor. I have been a patient for more than 8 years. Very disappointed.

Every time I call this doctors office they are booked through the whole week and I am forced to go to a walk in clinic that screws up my insurance every time. The staff is unfriendly and quiet frankly it's hard to believe they even enjoy their jobs there. Although I am always please with the primary practitioner's work, I WOULD NOT recommend this doctors office.
