continuing with visit for Tara Marutzky on June 7, 2024. He came over to my knees & said, Let's talk about this. I said no thank you. That I felt like he wasn't trying to understand at all. He asked me to go out into the lobby. That he would continue the exam with Tara, with me out of the room. I told him I was her representative. He said that was fine, but I still want you to leave, NOW! I said that I didn't think a 69 year old woman should be talked to like that. He said I did & I will again. GET OUT! He opened the door & pointed to the exit & said, There's the door, LEAVE NOW. I said I didnt need any help finding the door. By then I was crying hysterically. I told the nurse that Dean was a nut. They wouldn't even look at me. I can truly see why the lobby was empty. So Dean went back in & told Tara nothing was broke. And gave her Keflex for her tooth. He didn't review the X-rays with her . We would like the X-rays reviewed & would like to be able to pick them up. I truly believe… SoonerCare/Medicaid patients are treated differently. I called my husband crying hysterically & my granddaughter heard me crying. She got on the phone with clinic. I do admit she used terrible language. Anyway Dean told Tara to tell her daughter not to call again or he would call the police. He said Tara & I were banned from this clinic. So we left & went to Henry Roberts to get the script. Henry Roberts had to call clinic & ask them to send script over.

Front desk staff is great. No wait time. Now I see why. This is Karen Lambert. My daughter, Tara Marutzky, was seen by Dean Hill on June 7, 2024 for toothache & knee & foot injuries from a wreck on her bike. She asked for X-rays. When nurse called her back, I asked if I could come back also. That I was her legal representative due to a traumatic brain injury in 2011. The nurse said okay. Nurse took her vitals & put us in Room 3. Then a woman came in who was shadowing the PA. Took all of Tara's information. Then Dean Hill came in. He started examining Tara. She was very touchy about him examining her knee & foot. He asked her to flex foot & bend knee. She got very irritated. She said she couldn't do either one. Dean said, "Oh yes you can because I just saw you walk into the clinic. Tara informed him that she then asked for a wheelchair. He said again but you did walk through those doors, isn't that correct? I tried to explain to him that she couldn't bend her knee because of the… scab.He said if she had been worried about it she would have come 2 weeks ago when it happened. I tried to explain to him that Tara was an introvert. He said she's an introvert & was riding a bike. Tara said what difference does that make? I thought it would get better on it's own. I told him we had all tried to get her to go to the ER. I asked if we could please get X-rays on both knee & foot? Dean rolled up closer to Tara & said yes I will do x-rays on both. That the knee would just not be good quality. Then he tried to look at her tooth to no avail. He asked her why she had not been to dentist? I filled him in on our OU Medical experience. That they had made a special effort to get her tooth pulled. And couldn't because she didn't have any form of ID. And that was probably 6 months ago. I said luckily she got ID today. Dean said the process was pretty simple if you had a birth certificate. He said DMV wasn't going to come to your door & ask if you needed a State ID. It wasn't as it you needed a driver's license. I said she does have one now. He said he could see why Tara had never gotten any help. I asked why? He said because of me.
