Dr. Patrick Joseph Hughes, MD

Wished I had read the previous reviews prior to my appointment. Everything that was said is very accurate and factual. I will state that his purpose is to write a medical review that is favorable for the insurance company. If not they will ask him to change the wording ,if not they will let him go. These reports are a “pay for results “ and he knows that. What happen to the oath he took, do no harm and not be bought for his opinion. How credible is his evaluation? At his age of 77, I can’t believe that he is current on his board certification. He’s probably grandfathered in, which means he is not to date to current medical guidelines and protocals. I had 2-doctors state as a fact that had done these evaluations for insurance companies and declined to continue with them because of being asked to change the report, which by the way is illegal and insurance fraud

I was sent through no fault for neurological issues. He checked my arm movement and the radius of movement. I TOLD HIM CLEARLY THAT MOVEMENT WAS NOT MY ISSUE. He ignored me and wrote a report to no fault that I did not need any neurological treatments. Dent Neurological Center has treated me since for post concussion syndrome, 12 pills a day and constant treatments. I would have given a lower rating, however, the review site would not allow.

Don't know how this guy still practices. Exam so un-thorough I don't see how he can even get an idea of whats going on. Felt like he was in too much of a rush to even care to do his job properly. No wonder insurance companies hire him for a second opinion. They know he sucks!
