Dr Patrick Hwu, MD

Dr. Patrick Hwu is a board-certified oncologist who brings nearly four decades of experience to cancer care. He earned his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency training at the prestigious Clinical Center at the National Institutes of Health, where he specialized in medical oncology. His extensive 39 years in practice have established him as an experienced physician in the field of cancer treatment. Dr. Hwu provides care to patients in English.

Dr. Hwu maintains hospital privileges at Texas Health Huguley Hospital and practices at locations in Tampa, Florida. He treats patients with various forms of skin cancer, including melanoma and basal cell carcinoma, as well as thyroid conditions like hypothyroidism. His procedural expertise includes performing ultrasound-guided breast biopsies and prostate biopsies.
