Dr. Pat Johns has become an area leader in cosmetic, restorative, and implant dentistry since beginning his practice of family (general) dentistry at his Darmstadt office after graduating from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1976.
While at the dental school, he was a part-time Clinical Instructor in the dental assisting program. At graduation, Dr. Johns was recognized and honored by the National Dental Honor Society (Omicron Kappa Upsilon) and the International College of Dentists. He also won the senior dental student essay contest. In 1997, Dr. Johns earned a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) and is currently a member of the following:

Presently, he is a volunteer Clinical Assistant Professor (IU School of Dentistry) for the 2008-2011 school years. His …support and interest of ministry work has led to his involvement as a frequent short-term missionary dentist in Honduras for many years.
Outside his professional involvement and family time, Dr. Johns is an elder at his church, and enjoys fly fishing, reading, and plans to resume woodworking. He has also piloted small aircraft and spent many hours bird hunting with his dogs.
