Dr. Juneau received his B.S. from LSU and his MD from Tulane University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Neurosurgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and was Senior Resident and Chief Resident at Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Women?s and Children?s Hospitals. He was awarded the Harvey Cushing History of Neurosurgery Fellowship at Harvard Medical School and the Army Commendation Medal as a Major in the US Army Reserve Medical Corps. He is a clinical assistant professor of Neurosurgery at LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport and Tulane University School of Medicine. He is certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgery, and is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS), Society of Brigham Surgical Alumni, Louisiana State Medical Society and Lafayette Parish Medical Society. Anyone needing a Neurosurgeon should shout with joy to be a patient. Several years ago Dr. Juneau was voted among the best Neurosurgeons in the United States. He is even better today, as he has years of performing some of the most challenging surgeries there are. We are extremely fortunate to have such a Great doctor, here in Lafayette.

I have used and also sent referrals to Dr. Patrick Juneau. He is a very fine physician who knows what he is doing. Very informative physician and knowledgeable. He will answer all of your questions and calms your fears. I was very comfortable with him as my physician and my husband was also very pleased with the outcome of my surgery. The after treatment was just as pleasant. Would recommend this physician to anyone looking for this type of surgeon. Thank you Dr. Juneau for a job well done. Theresa Moreau

Extremely professional and caring physician. Dr.Juneau done my back surgery in 2005-2006 and I have not had any issues since then.

been a patient since being diagnosed with GBM brain cancer in 1993. I have seen other drs. around the country always fly back to see Dr. Juneau. others tend to write off GBM patients . dr. Juneau always ready to try something even when others want me to go away and die in peace. He was only 32 when he did my first surgery. feel truly blessed he is on my side! I don't fuss about waiting to see him because I know he won't rush when I'm in the back.

My stepdad in emergency surgery from a automobile accident and saw Dr Juneau. Let me just say he is the best in the buisness, we had never experience something like that before. He did a great job, he sat down with family to explain everything that he was doing and what was done. He made us feel so comfortable through the whoke procedure. I wouls give him all 10.
