Dr. Patrick Yuk-Hoi Lee, MD

I have seen Dr Lee several times over the years for issues and for basic colonoscopy procedure. He is patient and understanding of the discomfort of his specialty (I was very embarrassed my first visit). He really listens and takes the time to probe for more information about your issues. I do highly recommend him to anyone in need of his services.

He is one of the most caring physicians that I have encounter to date. he took time to not only know about me but also about my family. He feels strongly that health is a community affair and getting my family involved was just as important. Great doc!!!

Dr. Lee was the only doctor who was so thorough, that he was able to find the source of my problems, which had been plaguing me for several years. He used tests that are not used in my area, of Eugene. They were intense and revealed problems that could have been diagnosed years ago. My pain has be so debilitating and although I worked, I really suffered. Thank God for Dr. Lee! I am on the second phase of surgery that will give me another reason to smile!

Dr. Lee saved my life 12 years ago. I have been back several times for routine checks since then. At the time I was also suffering from depression and had a difficult time making decisions. I would never go to anyone else. He is professional, compassionate and considers all aspects of your life when making recommendations. He also expects you to do your part, which was a good thing for me.

Out of all the colon and rectal doctors I have seen, Dr. Lee was definitely very confident in his abilities. He knew what the problems were and was very optimistic that he could fix it. He works at a very fast pace and fully trusts his staff to take care of the details. I have now had two surgeries, one sphincterplasty, and a colostomy reversal. I am now scheduled for rectal prolapse and then getting a secral nerve stimulation unit implanted. I do trust him.

I have gone to Dr Lee for years and he is the best. First of all, he truly cares about his patients. He takes the time to call his patients himself and discuss any concerns. He is professional and warm and always seems to get me in for an appointment promptly. I have been to my share of not so great Doctors and he is really one of the great ones!

After my anoplasty procedure with Dr. Lee, he told me that it would take eight days for the pain to subside. But it has been over a month and the pain is still unbearable. As a doctor, he rushes through things, never takes the time to explain what's going on, and his bedside manner is horrible. Every time my husband and I spoke to him, I got a strong feeling that he did not care and he never bothered to ask how I feel (pain, if the meds are working, etc.) like a common doctor should. When I asked him about complications resulting after the surgery (bleeding stool, constipation, dry throat, burning sensation, sharp pain) he repeatedly replied, "I don't know...I don't about that." Would never recommend him to anyone! I'm giving him 2 stars just because I don't want to mess up his career.

I was very dissatisfied with my treatment, to say the least. He rushed through my appt. was uncaring and due to the procedure, I ended up in emergency surgery three days later! It has been 5 weeks since and I am still experience pain and discomfort.

The doctor seemed nice enough, just can't get through the inept staff to continue treatment. My appt. was incorrectly canceled by his staff an hour before my procedure. Then they want me to go through all that again and reschedule. Well, I did try to do that, but trying to communicate with the staff has proven to be too much of a cluster----.I give up.
