Dr. Patrick Leonard Pine

Terrible doctor. As other reviews stare, very rude and arrogant. You can add ignorant and narcissistic to that list too. Has no empathy for the patient and treats you like another number. Makes accusations and when you try to respond, gets mad and ends the appointment. Will never deal with that unprofessional behavior again. I highly recommend you look elsewhere as there are much better and more experienced doctors out there who actually care about their patients. He's not one of them. If I could rate negative stars, I sure would! ??????

I saw Dr Pine at Banner Urgent Care. He was rude and told me if I could not understand what he was saying he could not help that. I was in sever pain and asked if he could do something for the pain until I got to the doctor. He repeatedly told me that pain medication would not help my situation. Although, he would give me a shot of Ketorolac. So, which was it, pain medication will help me with the immediate situation or would it not. Come to find out after an ultrasound, I had a grade three calf tear which is a complete tearing or rupture of your calf muscle fibers; however, I was not in pain according to him and elevating pain temporarily would not help me even though I could not walk. I know pain medication is not going to heal this type of injury but his rudeness and uncaring nature causes me to write this review. He didn't even look at the back of my leg during the examination or compare one leg to the other to determine the swelling I had. Please save yourself time, money, and… frustration and go to a doctor who actually cares about the well being of the patient.

My husband and I had the misfortune to pick Dr. Pine as our PCP. We met with him at his Southern Avenue location in Apache Junction. Tuesday, Oct. 23rd. I had cancer in 2013 and had major surgery.....it went well and I am cancer free for 5 1/2 yrs. I am very overweight and don't like to focus on that part of me. I told the nurse assistant that I declined to be weighed. She got pissy and said I "had" to be weighed.....I said no ! She said she would tell the doctor, as if I was a bad little girl to suffer the wrath of my parent. We both went into the exam room, she came back and informed me the doctor was refusing to see me unless I was weighed. Dr. Pine came in and spoke to my husband but snubbed me. My husband asked him why and he said he ran his office the way he wanted to and that was it. I even stood up and turned around and told him my weight.......didn't sway him. I said you are refusing me medical care. He said I was being dramatic.....I said it might be dramatic but it is… the TRUTH ! Doctors have an oath to take to begin being a doctor......... " First, do no harm ! " He, in our opinion, is cold, rigid, without empathy, his office is austere, as cold as a morgue. We left after only 5 minutes. We just moved here from California a month ago...." welcome to Arizona " !

This guy is the worst so called doc I have ever encountered. Bullying, insulting, uncaring and down right rude. I was shocked to be treated in such a manner. I think he might have some personal problems. He complained that he had 3000 patients. In other words he didn't have time to deal with me.

This man spotted a problem that this old retired psychologist (I) hadn't had diagnosed in recent visits. His genuine smile and his sharp focus of interest in his patient at hand mirrors his sincere desire to be helpful. His more recent education puts him at the latest state of the art and I am sure, due to his level of interest and focus, he does his continuing education to keep current with all the newest developments in the rapidly changing field of internal medicine.

I am so incredibly grateful to have found Dr. Pine (now in the Meaa, AZ) area. He is undeniably the most incredibly, caring, and compassionate doctor that I have ever encountered. As someone who is incredibly ill, I was so exhausted of doctors sending me to numerous different doctors, simply because they didn't want to spend the time in the complexity of my problem. Dr. Pine has literally spent an hour with me during a visit when I really needed it. I knew that Dr. Pine would be my long time doctor when I literally collapsed cried in his office, and Dr. Pine just hugged me, telling me that things would be alright. He is amazing. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Pine. If you find yourself in the need of a caring doctor, look no further... Dr. Pine is your answer to all your medical problems and dilemmas.
