Dr. Patrick Lawrence Mallory, DO

I find Dr. Mallory's approach to be very refreshing! He is more interested in in practicing medicine and improving quality of life than worrying about insurance rules etc. While it may be a bit of a hassle for me to file my own insurance claim, I know I am getting quality care. I am convinced if more practices were run this way our health care system would not be the mess that it is. Removing the insurance component allows him to focus on what I am telling him and solving that problem, rather than the approach that the insurance company will accept.

Just money hungry and will find ANY excuse to send you for lab work. $$$$. Does not take Medicare....$$$, and in my opinion, he's like talking to a freshly painted wall. I would never advice anybody go there. There are sooo…..many other friendlier doctors that will treat you better. Oh, and good luck getting refills....

He only takes cash and doesn't care what you have to say. NO pernality!

I have seen Sharie Ritchie for years and LOVE her!! However, today, after having non-epileptic seizures for 9 days, I could only get in to see Dr Mallory. He could not have any less compassionate or caring if he tried (think cold, dead fish!) His only respomce to me was “you need to eat Paelo”. Now for lunch I had broccoli and the night before I had made a gluten free dinner with broccoli, corn (which we hadn’t eaten in who knows how long!) and blueberries for dessert. He proceeded to go on about how wrong we were to eat the corn. Again, I was even having seizures while he was in the room with me and had fallen while trying to walk to the waiting room! My husband and I were flabbergasted at his demeanor! He is a disgrace! I respect that he has helped others, but he was beyond rude and disrespectful!

This is a profit oriented enterprise, not a family practice doctor. They are difficult to work with and not patient centered as an FP should be.

I was extremely ill last year, no other Dr could find the problem... I lost over 40 lbs within weeks and could hardly eat or drink anything without vomiting. By the time I saw Dr Mallory I was having saline IV's every couple of days just to stay hydrated and was so weak I couldn't stand or walk on my own. I had had multiple tests with quite a few Drs and even been in the ER.. no one had answers. Dr Mallory was the only one who found the problem and put me back on the road to good health.. within weeks I looked and felt like a whole new person, those who had seen my decline were shocked at how quickly his treatment had me back on my feet. Dr Mallory is the only Dr I completely trust now, he took extended time on my appointments and really cared about getting me better.

this office will order unnecessary blood work tests then tell you that if the lab sends an additional bill to send it to them and they will take care of it. This is untrue. they also seem to push money making non-health related procedures that are not covered by insurance. Did not respond to a letter of concern I sent twice

A standard office visit will cost you $180.00. I have 80/20 coverage & he is supposed to accept "usual & customary" fee from my insurance. But, they bill you the entire amt regardless UNLESS you force them to deduct the insurance discount. He is also haphazard with ordering lots of very expensive tests for a "routine" physical.
