I specialize in Cancer Rehabilitation Medicine. I work to enhance a person's quality of life and function, which is often impacted by cancer and its treatments. I commonly helps individuals with conditions such as neuropathy/numbness and tingling, fatigue, radiation-fibrosis/tightness and spasms after radiation, post-mastectomy pain/breast pain after surgery, lymphedema/swelling, neck/back pain, osteoarthritis, trismus/difficulty with jaw opening, cognitive impairments/chemobrain and impaired mobility or decreased range of motion. I do this by utilizing diagnostic modalities, rehabilitation therapies, medications and procedural interventions.I am also passionate about utilizing integrative/holistic approaches to improve an individual's well-being. In addition to practicing Cancer Rehabilitation Medicine, I also perform osteopathic manual medicine/OMM/OMT. Osteopathic manual medicine involves looking at a person's neuro-musculoskeletal structure and identifying how this …impacts one's function. I use manual therapies such as myofascial release, muscle energy, counterstrain and cranio-sacral techniques to reduce pain and restore/improve the overall function of the body.
