Dr. McKenzie is tops in my book! He reconstructed both a shoulder and a knee for me after separate accidents, and, thanks to him (and a wonderful physical therapist!), I ski better than ever at 68! He is conservative and cautious, suggesting surgery only as a last resort. For a surgeon that says a lot! He is equally conservative in making sure everything is "normal" before releasing you to full activity. And nothing makes him happier than a patient who works toward and expects full recovery. He has time for questions and concerns and never makes the appointment feel rushed. Even though he's the team physician for the GREEN BAY PACKERS, which could go to some doctors' heads, he's thoroughly approachable and very caring. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him 100%.
