After Murphy's procedures I had to contact another surgeon. The wound was not healing and he didn't know what to do. Two surgeries later, with other surgeons, and the wound is not healing. My current surgeon referred me to UC Davis for reconstructive surgery. Never, ever again with Murphy!

As a first timer visiting a plastic surgeon and for a breast reduction, I can tell you I was so nervous my insides were shaking like it was 10°. Dr.Murphy was very sensitive to my shyness issue and made me feel totally comfortable. He takes the time you need to ensure all hour questions are answered and any doubts are relieved. I am so happy with the results. Dr. Murphy did an excellent job. I believe I was his last patient at Renown and he has gone into private practice. The only question that remains is when can I get my eyes lifted?

I was able to schedule an appointment with D r. Murphy in a reasonable amount of time. He was on time, which I greatly appreciated. I required a follow-up appointment to get biopsy results. Although the diagnosis was definitely not what I or Dr. Murphy hoped for he was patient and very compassionate while explaining the results. His relaxed manner made me feel very comfortable and I was able to ask him numerous questions regarding my diagnosis and prognosis. He answered all my questions completely and did not rush me through the appointment.

I found Dr. Murphy quite thorough, understanding, easy to talk to and beyond competent. Also, easy on the eyes.

Dr. Murphy was easily the best provider I have ever worked with. I found him patient, easy to talk to, empathetic and approachable. I have experienced a number of surgeries and my experience with physicians is, sadly, quite extensive.
