Dr. Patrick Joseph Oneill, MD

Dr O'Neill is one of the best MD I've had in my life. He tells it exactly like it is and expects patience to follow his treatment. If they are in denial and do not follow his instructions (take meds, get sleep, drink water) his bedside manner gets real testy. I like an MD who care like Dr O'Neill.

Just moved back from Washington and since I was a previous president declined me because I had switched primary care doctors. Very biased and unprofessional

I called to make an appointment with Dr. O'Neill last week. In the exam room I realized Dr. O'Neill is no longer seeing patients. There is no notice by mail nor telling by the phone for changing doctor. The supervisor came in and showed me there is a notice on the exam room door.

he interrupts you when you are speaking. Seems to be rushed.

STAY FAR FAR AWAY. I would not send my worst enemy here. Terrible attitude even worse bedside manner. Does not care about the patient at all. Front office staff unwilling to work with you if owed money. All they care about is how much money they can make sending patients in for tests they don't need.

Our family has used Dr. O'Neill for years. Once you are a patient, you can get same day appointments if needed and you don't wait forever in the waiting room. This office realizes the patient's time is as valuable as theirs is. He listens and gets you well fast. We trust him.

Dr. O' Neill is one of the best at pinpointing medical issues and treating. He does require one listen, cooperate and follow his orders, otherwise he can be grumpy if he thinks a patient is not doing their part. He helped me get all my glucose, BP and Cholesterol back to normal through strict orders to eat right, exercise, and take prescriptions. He is not shy at telling the truth and some people may not like this excellent old style of "do what I say and require" and you will improve.

Never even got in to see the doctor. Because I'm new in AL, they wouldn't even touch my insurance company because it was out of network. They told me I had to pay all costs out of pocket, then I had to file the forms myself with my insurance company. I know enough about insurance to know that means I will most likely get ripped off, with the doctor's office billing me the full amount rather than what's authorized by the insurance company. No way I will go to a doctor whose office isn't willing to work with a new patient who moved in from out of state.

Dr. O'Neill is the best! Competent, efficient, and friendly. Since my husband and I started seeing him in 2002, most of our family has switched.

Dr., O'Neill is personable, has a wonderful bedside manner as does his staff, his office is run methodically, insurance interfaces understood and well managed. His family is always by his side, making office visits fell like visits to your favorite neighbor. What he doesn't know, he researches or refers. Thank you for your service to the community.
