Dr. Patrick D Retterbush, MD

Dr. Retterbush has been my dermatologist for more than 10 years. He has removed scores of lesions, actinic keratoses, has taken biopsies and performed MOHS surgery several times over the years. Back when I was a teenager, I water skied often, then in my 20s, 30s and 40s, I owned a sailboat. For the past 30+ years I have been an avid bicyclist, so my skin has absorbed a lot of UV radiation. In my early years a dark tan was admired and sunscreen was seldom used Dr. Retterbush has provided excellent medical care and advice He has a very pleasant demeanor is very attentive to my questions and patiently explains in layman’s terms. Then he always closes with, “Is there anything else?” To illustrate my confidence in Dr. Retterbush, my wife was recently diagnosed with cancer and found some suspicious spots on her skin. Dr. Retterbush saw her immediately and gave us the good news that the spots were not related to her cancer. He is accepting new patients, and I would encourage his former… patients to re-establish their doctor-patient relationship with this outstanding dermatologist and very decent human being. Robert E. I was recently referred to Dr Retterbusch by my doctor to have a skin cancer removed. I found the staff was incredibly helpful and Dr Retterbusch was not only efficient at what he did on my ear, but was very informative, taking the time to explain everything in detail and then making sure I understood what he was saying. I can’t recommend him any higher than 5 or I would.

He has performed surgery on me at least 5 times and he is thorough, thoughtful and follows up. I recommend him highly.

The best Mohs surgeon around. He is so knowledgeable and knows how to handle someone like me who has lots of skin cancers. When I started seeing him after seeing another guy in town for years, I started to realize what a fund of knowledge he has about complex skin cancer management.

Had Mohs Surgery at Dr. Retterbush and Dr. whalens new office. Kind staff, doctor, and the most knowledgeable skin cancer manager in town. Will always be his patient.
