Last year Dr Roughneen did my aortic valve replacement. Great Dr. Awesome bedside manner and very informative. If you need a heart surgeon and he is available GRAB HIM!! LOL

Dr. Roughneen was my father's CV surgeon. My father had unexpected emergency CABG surgery. Dr. Roughneen has the best bedside manner I've ever experienced. He takes his time, makes sure everyone understands and answers all the questions you may have. I am a physician and had multiple technical questions. He answered all of them and instilled great confidence in me of his skills and experience. Before, during and after the surgery, he made sure we were all kept well informed of what was going on. In the post-op hospital days, he made sure my father was well taken care of and his needs were met. He truly cares about his patients like they are his family. After my father was home, I called the on-call doctor with a wound care question. Instead of hearing back from the on-call doctor, Dr. Roughneen called and answered my question (he was out of town). As a physician, If anyone in my family, myself or my friends need a CV surgeon, this will be the doctor we trust our lives to.

Great doctor! Very kind and humble. Never in a hurry to get away & answered all questions before & after surgery. This man really cares about his patients & what is best for them. Would highly recommend him to friends & family.

Dr. Roughneen saved my life. After having a combined heart and gall bladder attacks, Dr. Roughneen did a double heart bypass. His professional manner, personal interest in me as a patient, and encouragement helped me to recover in record time. After a very successful surgery, I was sent home on the fourth day after surgery. He is the best! I am now entering my second week post-op.

Dr Roughneen is awesome. Inserted a third lead when bi ventricular iCD was implangted and it became necessary to surgically implant the lead to the left ventricle. He is well respected by the nurses who cared for me, and is just a great physician and surgeon. We found him to be very caring and explained things completely. He was extremely good in removing a chest tube with absolutely no pain at all. We felt fortunate that our cardiologist referred him and recommend him highly.

Dr. Roughneen is an excellent surgeon that I can recommend without question.After performing the quad CABG, he stopped by to see me daily and demonstrated real compassion that is rare for professionals of his level of skill.
