Dr. Patrick Soto, DO

I have seen Dr. Soto several times for injections and nerve blocks. He is wonderful, caring and explains everything.

I was convinced by "Dr." Soto that I would benefit greatly from the installation of a Medtronic Pain Pump for my chronic pain that I have been dealing with after numerous back surgeries I had to correct what another crook did to me. For one, he installed the pain pump catheter incorrectly, having to go back under the knife twice to correct his mistake. During the 2 1/2 years I had the pain pump, I rarely saw the "Dr". I was always seen by his staff which just pushed me to keep the pain pump in and trying to convince me it was just a problem with meds. Long story short, when I finally had enough and wanted the useless contraption removed from my body, he lied in my records stating that I was uncooperative, even though he only saw me a couple times during the entire period even though I consistently asked. When he removed the pain pump, he also was supposed to remove the catheter, which he in deed charged the insurance company for and even stated in his surgery notes. After a few years I… had a poking type pain in my back. When my wife looked at it, it appeared something was pushing from inside my skin outwards. I immidiatly saw a surgeon which found that "Dr." Soto not only did not remove the catheter, he just left it floating around inside me, and the tip was pushing through my skin. This catheter runs up my spinal cord which makes it extremely dangerous if it would have penetrated the rest of the way through my skin. I have since had it removed and have a huge lump on my back sticking out permanently from the misplacement of the pain pump. And by the way, during the time I had my pain pump, he never told me it was being investigated for being faulty, and eventually was recalled. All which I was never notified of. I think he was just trying to cover his own butt!. Funny, he no longer works at the same office shortly after my issues. He should have his licensed revoked! He is a quack at best! More like a money hungry hack!

His patients are just a number as he is all about his bank account instead of helping his patients seek the best care. He did not evaluate my specific needs but wanted to treat me in a cookie cutter fashion, never once actually did a look over on me or order labs but when I did bring labs in and asked his take he could not even read the numbers. I paid for doctor visit after doctor visit where he basically just wanted to poke and that was it. That scared me. I can see why there is someone else on here suing him for malpractice as he is very passive aggressive, I would not recommend this doctor.

I have been seeing Dr Soto for a few months now, for back injury. I have been through months of physical therapy, injections, as well as anything else that could possibly help. The next step is surgery. Unfortunately, Dr. Soto has fallen into the growing group of medical "professionals" that are so nervous about prescribing any type of narcotic pain medication, this has been a much more taxing and miserable experience than I should/could have been. I have siblings and friends that are all in the medical field. Dr's, ARNPs, PA's, etc. and many see the same throughout the country. Providers that have thrown the baby out with the bathwater. They would much rather their pts suffer with pain, for months or years, than take the slight chance that they may develop an addiction to a medication. Its very sad to see this happening so much now days. Back in the 90's provider's were encouraged to prescribe meds, and ALWAYS be mindful about pt suffering. However, now days, many would prefer that… their pt suffer, in lieu of of possible addition.

Dr Soto is the most kinfd Caring doctor ever. when he could not helpme he referred me to someone who could. thank you your the best dr soto

Excellent doctor and a fine patient advocate

Mr. Soto would not even call me as I lie languishing in excruciating pain due to a medication error following his performance of surgery FOR THREE DAYS. My medication orders were NEVER corrected during my hospital stay. He then sent me a certified letter stating I had been officially discharged from his practice without one, single follow up, examination, or even speaking to me as per my specific request. The reason he gave was my behavior, which I will admit escalated from my typical friendly, professional demeanor as I suffered under great duress and he ignored me for days on end. Mr. Soto had promised he would attend to my needs and explicitly asked me to call him with any needs during my hospital stay.

He is a very good doctor and helped me to manage my pain without pain medications.

I have spastic diapledgic cereberal palsy. When I first met Dr Soto, he blew me off as med seeking, when I saw him again a year later he explained that he had passed that judgement based soley on the origin of my refferal. By then I was much worse off. The procedure was supposed to be a simple one 7 surgeries in a year and a half, each time telling me "he did it" and we were all good. only about 8 months relief in total. Another 6 months ignoring me when I told him and his support staff something was wrong. Ignoring signs he saw first hand dismissing them as simple minor things, he never looked at the whole thing all together. He told me I am just unlucky. Instead of realizing the point when he was out of his depth & needed help, he just began to try three "hail mary" operations in a 2 & 1/2 month period. All unsuccessfull, due to prolonged misdiagnosis, resulting in a very high risk procedure performed by a more experienced surgeon.

Treatments by Dr. Soto were extremely effective, and brought relief for progressively longer periods of time. I would rank him as being truly gifted in his craft!!
