Dr. Patrick Kevin Stanton, DO

After a day went by his staff listened to my message of concern and so did Dr. Patrick Stanton so for that I am thankful. I just needed some understanding as to why my care could not be continued. Sometimes Doctor's have the hardest decision of all to make. He did listen and his staff returned my call to explain in further detail so for that I am grateful. It is important for chronic pain patients to try and hold onto some civility yet hard at times as I am one of those patients. He was kind enough to refer me to another group more suited to handle my case which at best is very hard to determine and/or diagnose.

My Pain started around 6 months ago with Pancreatitis which just had a domino effect from there. Sent to GI's after that for Ulcers (3) different gastric procedures and then finally an EGD where they decided to send me to a GI surgeon for gall bladder removal. From there the pain still didn't subside so a couple more tests a few more doctors and finally a huge kidney stone showed up. I had a lithotripsy performed. After a few weeks I passed out most of the stones but, yet still the pain would not subside. I did NOT want to go to pain management. I was looking for resolve but an MRI showed a herniated disk pinching off a never and thought well, that must be it! After filling out my life's history over the last 6 months the Pain Doctor came in and saw me and immediately talked about the 10 doctors and 5 pharmacies I had been to. Yes, this is true but, at no time in my mind did I ever think this was an issue because I don't think about things in such terms. Drug Users know the rules and… regulations but rest assured I had nothing to hide. All I wanted was an end to the pain so I was a little shocked when he told me he couldn't help and really made me feel like I was a drug seeker. As a former Marine integrity flies a long way with me and I feel accused, belittled and still walked away with no answers. Now I finally understand why chronic pain patients finally hit a brick road and say "that's enough" or just give up as today as I have just given up. Now, I am on some list and feel like total "LOSER". I have 3 beautiful children in which I have raised to always do the right thing and so proud of them for working hard as I have and today I feel by 1 doctor that I am most certainly the most vile creature on earth. Thank you so much for not only not helping me find a solution (by the way I don't need your medicine and never did) I now have to look at my children as if I am some scourge of the earth after years of working hard to follow my faith and ensure my children always do the right thing. I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone that was in a situation where they were in pain but, just did not have anything definitive enough to help them. Good Luck for those out there that come to this facility. I hope you get the treatment you are looking for.

I like Dr Stanton. I am able to talk with him about anything and he is truele concerned about my wekk being.

Dr. Patrick Stanton is the best pain management doctor I've ever had. He treats me like a human being. He calls me personally to follow up on any issues I have and does everything he can to treat my chronic pain. He coordinates with other doctors and surgeons to investigate, diagnose and repair any issues that I have. I can't say enough good things about him. He's the best!

My association with Dr Patrick has been everything positive. He is always upbeat & loves to see progress ! Have had several injections & thanks to this pain Management program I feel much improvement. Took a very bad fall last year & my pre- existing conditions excelled to a higher level. Would recommend his team! Am in the beginning stages of healing.

The only person in the office that has manners and respect is the receptionist. Forget trying to talk to someone on the telephone it is basically impossible. The doctor should wait for an answer before going to the next question and have trust in his patients. Personal information is discussed in the waiting room so there is no respect for privacy and/or HIPPA Laws. When you are in pain the last thing you need is to be treated with disrespect. You will feel degraded when you leave this office.

Dr. Stanton is fair, loyal and caring. I would work for him again in a minute. He really gives a care about his patients and ensuring all points of interest in their care are met.

Finally found a good doctor who understands and cares. Treatment is adjusted as needed and, rightfully so, monitored closely. I couldn't be happier to have finally found relief at the hands of people who care.

Accused me of being a drug seeker on my second visit before even talking with me or calling my previous Doctor. Very rude and accusing. I was shocked and felt attacked.
