Dr. Patrick Wei-Tse Wang

Dr. Wang is knowledgeable but his bedside manor left me feeling uncomfortable. I found him to be quite cold during the consultation. The larger issue is the blatant gaslighting and manipulation than came in response to a review I left for his very troubled practice. His practice’s staff gave me the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Dr’s office. Instead of apologizing he tried to gaslight me and under the guise of a very transparent veil of kindness suggest i wasn’t a happy person and that I was impossible to please. It was a shocking mischaracterization and a transparent manipulative tactic. I consulted with a few surgeons so I could make an informed decision and he tried to twist and prevaricate that fact to suggest that I was impossible to please. Quite contrarily, I was very pleased with my other two consultations and have chosen one of those drs as my surgeon. Seeking a second and third opinion for surgery is highly common in medicine, and in fact, my consultations with the other… drs highlighted how unacceptably unprofessional my experience at his practice really was. They took no accountability and instead gaslight me and mischaracterized me. A Dr can’t be judged only by his staff, but he can be judged by his response to his staff’s behavior and the way he treats patients. I will say he’s a very educated and knowledgeable man. But that doesn’t matter much if he doesn’t work on bed side manor, office’s dedication to HIPAA policy and overall accountability. He has refused to answer my calls or procedure his business email. Only in the response to my review did he offer a customary apology but not without the aforementioned projection, gaslighting and mischaracterization. It was one of the most backhanded “apologies” I’ve ever received.
