Dr. Patrick Eugene Whitten, MD

Excellent dr very caring and has wonderful bedside matter. This really make a difference for the patiens and families. His office staff all across the board were great! I have and will recommend. Him to anyone in need of pulmonary care.

The best and most compassionate doctor I have ever had.

In 25 years of serious health care, this doc is top 10. My exact diagnosis is uncertain and I am a pain in the neck. However, with this doc, I never feel that way. He TALKS to me. Explains procedures, tests, diagnosis. He follows up, briefly, but his nurse follows up thoroughly. While trying a new drug, his nurse spent time with me at the office as well as numerous phone calls. Because it is a controlled drug, I have to call in each month for refills. Each call was consistently pleasant, often leaving me feeling I rec'd special treatment. Dr. Whitten is thorough but does not order $$$ of tests and procedures that aren't needed. Most importantly (to me), he works WITH me in managing my healthcare and that is why I will stay with him and one of the many reasons why I recommend him.
