Dr. Patrick George Woods, MD

Recently I drove an elderly friend to the E.R where Patrick Woods was the attending E.R. doctor. Her blood pressure was high, heart rate was fast and she had difficulty breathing. Dr Woods proceeded to tell her he has seen patients with blood pressure in the 300's and he sends them home. He was in the examining room for no more then 10 minutes chiding her the entire time with unkind comments. I would not trust this doctor with a loved one under any circumstances. By the way this is a stand alone ER facility and my friend was the only patient at the time. It wasn't as though he was busy or overworked and didn't have time for a patient.

I am a routine patient at the Methodist practice. All of my doctors and specialist are through Methodist. My specialist told me to report to the ER and Dr. Patrick Woods was the attending. He proceeded to insult me, make fun of me, tell me that I was not in pain and insinuate that I was there for pain medication only. Fact of the matter is I do not take pain medication and that can be confirmed simply by looking in my long history of a chart. He did not perform any evaluation on me and I had to leave without medical attention. I plan on filing a formal complaint through the hospital as well with the board of medicine.

He was rude the minute he walked in and automatically branded me a drug seeker and treated me like I only wanted medication He even put it down on my medical records and now I have to get them to change everything that is not true I will never go back to that hospital as long as he is there.

This is flat out a real deal doctor!

This doctor's office submitted my account to a collection agency before even sending me any bill. The first sign of a bill was a threatening letter from the collection agency indicating that credit bureaus were to be notified in an attempt to collect a debt. Their office would do well to send a bill before demonstrating such a lack of respect. I would have gladly paid a bill had I received one.
