Maybe she is at the point where she would like to retire as she operates that way. I have no confidence in this person as a doctor, and she needs to close up shop. I always feel like my visits were pointless. I dont understand how she still has a practice.

I selected this doctor due to my regular doctors not taking my change in insurance. I had some "red flags" at the first meeting, but did my best to communicate my concerns and needs. This doctor misdiagnosed me twice. The second time I ended up being admitted to the hospital after driving myself to the ER. This doctor doesn't listen to her patients and ignores injuries or physical complaints. She doesn't order proper labs and I found her and two of her staff to be rude and unprofessional. There is an issue with communication and caring. I have found a new doctor and I am encouraged to get the help and care I needed.

This office is the worst medical office I've ever been in. The doctor was not in the least interested in the care advised by the pathology lab and dismissed my results. She wanted me to make an additional appointment for a health check which I was expecting and said she said she gets paid for each appointment, even though she did nothing on the initial one. The office was not clean either and it was total waste of time seeing her.

She is a very good Doctor

Dr. Magat is in the business of billing insurance not patient care. Her office is neglected and staff is unorganized and rude...probably due to working conditions. When you are told that the dr. refuses to following medical orders of another dr due to fear of fines...even though you life is a stake, there is a serious ethical problem. There are so many bad reviews about this lady that I can;t believe she hasn't had her license taken away..and I am embarrassed that I went to her. Third world care in Poway.

Dr. Magat's staff is SO TERRIBLE! They were so rude to me that I walked out before seeing the doctor and will not be returning for Primary care. DO NOT take Dr. Magat as your Provider

This doctor has misdiagnosed me, treated me with medicine incorrectly, and double charged me. She also likes to have you come in at least twice before giving you a prescription because then she can charge more to your insurance company.

I've been to this office several times, but have since switched primary care doctors. I cant recommend this doctor to anyone. The office is stuffy cluttered and unprofessional. They will only take cash for co-pay and have no ability to take payment via bank card or other means. The doctor is fairly nice but doesn't really seem to care much about her patients. She appears to be preoccupied with other thoughts during my visits. Unlike other doctors that I have meet, she works in plain clothes (evening dress) and open toe sandals with a schmock, which seems odd to me for some reason. Just unprofessional. The times I have been there, I left the office feeling like it was a complete waste of time.

I had to take my 14 year old son in for a knee injury & as soon as I walked in the office I got a bad feeling. The office was dirty & the staff looked & acted very unprofessional.Dr. Magat did not listen to me or my son when explaining what was wrong, she started feeling his stomach when my son clearly had a knee injury. She didn't do anything for us, it was a complete waste of time & money!I will NEVER go here again & don't recommend it to anyone!
