Dr. Patti May, MD

Dr. May was disinterested in both of my visits. I was blindly sent to have labs done only to never have a call back or follow up regarding the information with those labs. In both of my visits to her office she basically just checked my vitals and sent me on by way for my lab work. There was no conversation about my symptoms remedies. Both times I had to call her office or the lab to find out my results. He nurses are very kind, I realize this is not their fault, but the lack of communication is astounding to me. She was in and out of my appointment in 10 or less minutes each time. She was extremely impersonal, unprofessional, and unfocused.

I learned about Dr May thru my sister in law, Nancy Spain, and my wife, Judy Tiner, who had taken her mother , Virginia Spain in for visits. I am very glad I took their advice! I've been extremely satisfied in all aspects of my relationship with Dr May, and I would highly recommend her services to anyone who demands top notch knowledgeable medicine delivered in a prompt, courteous and friendly manner.

Dr. May appears very personable in the beginning, but she very quickly takes a very authoritative stance in her manner and recommendations. She becomes hostile if you question the reasons for her suggested diagnosis, which she seems to jump to at times without a full evaluation or examination, or if you question the real need for, or the reasons for, the medications she is prescribing. Patient medical care, in my view, should be a COOPERATIVE undertaking between patient and doctor, rather than a ONE-WAY dictatorial approach from Doctor to Patient.

This doctor gave me lack of hope and a feeling that I was hanging on to life as a result of seeing her. She lacks all professionalism. Didn't she take a HIPPA law to help people? Run for your life. No Care, False Accusations and Completely Wrong Diagnosis. Never looked at any of physical complaints. Sent home without any treatment. Still in pain and cannot walk.
