Dr. Patti Jeanette Schroder, MD

Just had Dr. Schroder on my mind. She treated my grandson 18 years ago and saved his life. He was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. She saw him 3 days a week and took such great care of him. On one of his visits she detected he was having breathing difficulties, gave him a breathing treatment, and told us to take him to Children’s Hospital. By the time we got to the hospital he was better and they didn’t think he needed to be hospitalized. However, she insisted he be admitted for observation. Within a couple of hours of admission, he crashed and wasn’t sure he would make it. They had to place him on an ecmo machine to keep him alive. He was later sent by helicopter to Little Rock, Arkansas for his second heart surgery. He was there over 2 months. This year he graduates from high school, having made all A’s all year. He is my miracle grandson. Had Dr. Schroder not provided such excellent care and concern for him, he would not have made it. I will forever remember what a… wonderful and caring physician she is. I highly recommend her.

My child saw Dr. Schroder for many years. She misdiagnosed her once resulting in a hospital stay. Realizing that everyone makes mistakes, I chose to stay with Dr. Schroder. That was a foolish decision. She once again misdiagnosed my child causing much needless suffering. When I eventually took my child to a specialist (without a referral or support from Dr. Schroder), she was immediately correctly diagnosed and treated, ending her daily misery. Dr. Schroder seemed to be resentful and angry rather than happy that my daughter was finally helped. I stayed with the practice merely because I didn’t know where else to turn. Sometime later Dr. Schroder again misdiagnosed my poor child! She was very unkind and dismissed the debilitating symptoms. This time I found an excellent pediatrician who immediately (first visit!) did the right tests and got her in with the right specialist to fix her problem. It was a condition that would have become worse over time and left untreated could have been… disastrous (not to mention daily suffering with symptoms). Needless to say, I would give Dr. Schroder zero stars if I could. I’ve never experienced such an uncaring, incompetent doctor.

I've been a mom for 13 years have 3 kids ! All together I've came across many doctors ! With my third I had a doctor who wouldn't listen and my newborn was having problems. I had doctors tell me I was just being a new mother ! I seen Dr.Schroder 1 visit and she's running multiple test to confirm her diagnosis! My baby was confirmed lactose intolerant and had severe acid reflux !! We have now been with her for two years !! Her and her fellow staff are always awesome !! She's never been rude with me or my family !! Dr.Schroder and her staff go above and beyond every time we call or need to be seen !! I wish I had found her 13 years ago !!

She's just ok. She takes anything you say that may disagree with her thoughts as VERY personal and makes sure you know it.

Office staff was knowledgable. Dr Schroder was very sweet and accurate. Love the phone nurses

Her office staff changed recently and we aren't getting the same level of service we used to, but once we get in to see her the diagnosis and level of care we routinely receive is great.
