I’ve never had a doctor laugh in my face and tell me I couldn’t be experiencing what I was. (Which has been proven and diagnosed with another provider since). No caring at all.

He's a great family practice and whatever else kind of doc he is...he's great!!!!

My first visit maintain trust and that is what I specifically look for in a Doctor.

I don't know what the other people are complaining about- the staff is great! They really try to help, and are friendly and outgoing. The doctor is very caring and friendly, and takes his time to listen. I am very happy overall

Loved the Dr. The staff, especially Marcella,is discourteous and have constantly been put on hold even after stating we could not wait, only to be told we would have to wait anyway.

I have only had the pleasure of bad customer serivce by front office girls over the phone. I called 4 times today just to recieve an answer regarding medical records release. The first two times I was put on hold and waited over 15 minutes to only get a dial tone. Third time I called, I left a message for the records person to call back, of which this person never called back. Once I finally talked to someone, they were very rude and told me that they sent the release to an outsourcing center. Called outsourcing center, they have not recieved the records request yet. I have always been told, never judge a physician by his office staff ... I hope they were right.

Well that explains it all. Doctors Fantastic. Girls in front are rude and dont do their jobs. Observed one playing on facebook. Will be changing my doctor.

Dr Afek himself is an excellent doctor. He is caring and really listens. I agree with the previous poster though. Some of his his office staff needs to be trained in customer service. The hispanic receptionist is excellent, very friendly and helpful. The rest of the girls up front however can be rude when answering the phones, and seem to have problems returning calls and getting referrals. However, dr afek's care is worth the inconvenience.

MY EXPERIENCE IN YOUR DR.OFFICE IS UNSASISFACTORY MY SON NEEDED A COUPLE THINGS THAT REQUIRED FEEDBACK FROM YOUR OFFICE AND THERE WAS NONE 1ST WAS A LETTER THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MAILED THAT WAS NOT DONE AND THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DONE TWICE.SECOND WAS A PHONE CALL THAT WAS PROMISED TO BE RETURNED TO ME THAT DAY AND WITH ME CALLING FOR A FEW DAYS I FINALLY GOT THE INFO I NEEDED AND WHEN I CALLED BACK TO EXPLAIN I WAS CUTOFF VARIOUS TIMES LIKE IT DID NOT MATTER AND THEY WERE DOING ME A FAVOR.WELL ITS NOT A FAVOR TO DO SOMETHING FOR SOMEONE THAT YOUR OFFICE HAS TO DO SO I CAN GET MY CHILD TAKING CARE OF ITS THEIR JOB!! VERY UNFAIR TO A CLIENT TO HAVE TO DO MORE WORK IN YOUR OFFICE THAN IT FEELS SOME OF YOUR OFFICE STAFF DOES.I THINK WHAT MAKES THINGS WORSE WHEN YOUR WAITING ON THE LINE INSTEAD OF GETTING THE PHONE CALL PROMISED IS YOUR WAITING TIME ON THE LINE 6 TO 10 MINUTES IS VERY FRUSTRATING!FOR THIS SECOND TIME OF YOUR OFFICE NOT FOLLOWING THROUGH I WILL BE FINDING ANOTHER DR.… THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU AS A DR BUT A COUPLE OF YOUR STAFF MEMEBERS NEED TO CARE MORE!!

Love him and his office they are GREAT!!!
