Dr. Paul Bachwitt, MD

I could give no stars I would. The receptionist who greeted us and went over my father’s medical history was really polite and kind. Dr. Bachwitt came in with a barely audible hello and started to read the medical history without any introduction or pleasantries. He was doing a worker’s compensation exam on my father who is 71 with a bad back. Dr. Bachwitt started his exam and while most of the exam was impersonal and cold it was fine. The Dr. then asks my father to lay down on the flat table. My Dad tries to lay down and gets stuck in a half laying/half sitting position and cannot move any farther any direction. My dad then asks the doctor to get him up and that it hurts too much and he can’t do it. The Dr. ignores his complaints and pleas for help and coldly tells him he has to. At this point my father is in tears(which I haven’t seen in my 29 years of life) and asks again for help and he can’t do it. The doctor still ignores my fathers pain and I jump up and yell at him that he is… hurting him and help my father out of the position. The nurse who was assisting also told the doctor that my father was in pain and couldn’t complete the task. She says sorry informs us the examination is over and we can go. Dr. Bachwitt says nothing and walks out of the room.

First off I waited for 35 minutes before the receptionist even acknowledged that I was there. I wasn’t called back until I had waited for an hour when there was not one single person in the waiting room. Just myself. When I got back to see the doctor he gave a half assed evaluation. He told me not to expect a big reward from workers comp because I had healed too well for that. The doctor also looked very unprofessional and acted as if he hated to be there.

This man works for workers comp and can lay his head down at night and sleep well as he ruins peoples claims for workers comp. Didnt even look at my MRI, just stated an opinion through an xray. Regardless of the fact I had all my other drs stating I need surgery. For goodness sake, Im 72 years old.

Don't knows What he's talking about and does not listen his wife which is the office manager is a very rude person

This doctor listens to your concerns and is very professional with his answers. He is easy to talk and very easy to understand.

Dr. Bachwitt and his staff were very courteous and professional during my visit. Dr. Bachwitt took the time to explain the type of surgery that I needed and even showed me pictures from a text book. He wants his patients to be educated and informed. My visit was very pleasant and informative.

The absolute worst experience of my life, sadly it took being a patient know that Dr. Backwitt has no bedside manner and does not care about his patients. I have had to find another orthopedic doctor whom I love.

How is this man a doctor? He sold his career to insurance companies who pay him to say you can go back to work no matter what's wrong with you. You could be missing your head and he'd tell you to go back to work,there's nothing wrong with you.BEWARE OF THIS " DOCTOR ".
