Dr. Bland was born in Orlando, Florida and received his undergraduate degree from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. He has been in private practice and part …of the faculty of the College of Dentistry since 1994, and he currently serves as interim chairman of the department of periodontology, where he is an assistant professor. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Memphis Dental Society, American Academy of Periodontology, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
