Dr. Paul Andrew Briggs, MD

Dr. Briggs is a great guy. He seems nice, has quite the personality. He just didn't seem too concerned with necessary lab work as my previous 2 physicians I had prior to moving to North Oklahoma. I was able to get beyond that by asking him to run labs etc. My last appointment they forgot about me in the exam room for over an hour. I finally came out hunting someone and found them eating lunch in a room across from my exam room. The deal breaker was his staff. Tonya in the front office seems bent on denial of anything you ask. Appointments, speaking with a nurse, you name it, it seemed as if she joyed in telling you "Can't do it" My wife recently fell on concrete steps, I had her loaded in the vehicle rushing her Blackwell for either the Dr's office or the ER at Integris. She was really hurting. Tonya in the front office could hear her crying in the background and said "I can't help it, she'll have to wait til Thursday" (It was Monday when this happened). I've pulled up stakes on… Dr. Briggs as my PCP after giving it a year. I just can't keep on dismissing rudeness and the lack of care that I've observed. Hate to be a complainer, but if I can save someone the grief that's what I intend to do. Money is too hard to come by to waste it at this provider's office.

I am so glad we found Dr. Briggs when we moved back to Oklahoma. It's hard to find doctor who makes you feel at ease and spends the time with you as needed. I tell everyone wo is looking for a good doctor to go to him and once they do they will always call me and thank me for sending them to Dr. Briggs. The minute you walk in the door you are greeted with friendly staff and then when you go back to your room he has great nurses there helping him out. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being excellent I will gladly give him and his staff a 10.
