Dr. Bushkuhl is an excellent physician who knows that doctoring is about more than just looking at what's wrong. He has an integrative view of medicine and patients and coordinates those aspects of treatment that patient is seeing other physicians and health care professionals for. He has a warm, compassionate manner and is very open and direct. Easy to talk to, he balances all the things I am dealing with, thereby clarifying the whole picture for me.

I had to switch primary care physicians and was very nervous about doing this since I was used to my doctor I was with . At my first appointment with Dr, Bushkuhl he made me feel completely at ease and not so nervous...he was very concerned and actually listened to what I had to say and my concerns....I highly recommend him. He is amazing as a physician.

Dr. Bushkul is a terrific internist. One of my best friends is an Internist in another state and when I moved to NY I had to find a doctor - I was at first going to urgent care places but at my age (in my 60's) I knew I had to find a good primary go-to doctor for my needs. I was given an appt. with Dr. Bushkul when I was sick with a chest cold a few years ago and using him ever since. He is caring, thoughtful, thorough, and considers well all paths needed for a proper diagnosis and treatment.

Dr. Paul W. Bushkuhl is the kind-hearted family doctor everyone needs. He is not arrogant, never in a hurry, discusses your current condition, and goes back over your history so as to not miss a thing. It is amazing at the amount of time he devotes to his patients. When needed, Dr. Bushkuhl will refer you to a specialis, and always calls to discuss your test results. The practice has a covering physician if you need to get in right away. This is the family doctor you've always wanted.

I have been going to Dr. Bushkuhl for about two years. I've had a handful of appointments, which have always been difficult to schedule since he is always booked. He promises to call you back and then doesn't. Test results take twice the time as promised and you have to hunt him down for them. Is he slow or uncaring? I would not recommend him and am looking for another doctor.
